PAUL PODBURY

PARTNER, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Woodend born and raised, Paul is the Founder and Managing Director of Rotallieo. With 16 years’ experience in accountancy services across a range of industries, he established the practice in March 2020.

 

Specialising in small-to-medium businesses, Paul places particular emphasis on gaining a thorough understanding of each client’s operations, to provide tailored advice and ensure best practice across all finance and compliance needs.

 

Crucially, Paul considers himself a partner rather than an external consultant, working alongside his clients to provide strategic financial advice that achieves maximum business growth and promotes efficiencies.

 

A qualified CPA accountant with a Bachelor of Masters and Commerce, Paul is highly experienced in all areas of taxation, accounting and compliance. He has a broad range of advisory experience gained from time spent in businesses actioning key finance drivers, and also from working with small business owners in areas such as business structuring, business sales and succession planning.

 

Paul’s breadth of experience ranges from a foundation in public practice and tax, along with managing the finance function for SME businesses, to leading financial due diligence and preparing business cases on several multimillion-dollar acquisitions. The latter was performed whilst maintaining full accountability across the client’s finance function, including niche areas like research and development, and intellectual property.  

 

Paul is a proud father of two young boys and is an active participant in the local Macedon Ranges community, as well as President and Treasurer of the Woodend Hesket Football Netball Club.

EMMA QUIN

PARTNER, BOOKKEEPING MANAGER

Emma is Rotallieo’s Bookkeeping Manager. She joined the firm in 2022 when it merged with Macedon Ranges Bookkeeping Service. After growing up in the Macedon Ranges,

Emma spent many years working internationally before returning home to raise her family.

 

Emma is passionate about supporting and sustaining businesses by utilising her 27 years of high-level experience in the fields of project accounting, finance, contractor management, corporation law and ATO compliance. She has previously worked for a range of organisations, from family run businesses, to national companies, through to large, corporate multi-national clients.

 

Emma has the essential knowledge to oversee the day-to-day financial and business management tasks necessary to meet your compliance obligations, as well as the expertise to advise, structure and implement your business’ ongoing requirements and systems.

 

A wealth of experience in ATO and ASIC compliance, asset procurement, subcontractor and contractual management, financial reporting, budgeting and numerous accounting software packages, Emma can also assist and advise on accounting requirements for business startups, expansions or diversification.
